Implementation
My third grade students participated in my reading and writing class during the 2016-2017 academic year. They were exposed to target reading strategies: vocabulary repetition (booklets, games, flashcards, etc.), Spalding Phonograms, LLI Intervention lessons (starting with level H), graphic organizers (used during guided reading rotations and during intervention), and the reread strategy where they reread their leveled LLI books twice. The research period was from January 9th to March 24th. Reason for Implementation
